Shonen Punk

Shonen Punk is essentially a one man operation.  Trista & J4yx2 sometimes will toss me random plot ideas and twists, time from time.  However, I do all of the writing, all of the art, all of the work on the website, etc myself.  This doesn’t leave an extraordinary amount of time to spread the word about the comic, sadly.

If you enjoy Shonen Punk and would like to help out, here’s what you can do:

1: Post a Banner!

Feel free to post one of the following to your blog, website, myspace page, gaia profiles, or elsewhere.  Please download the banner and upload to your own site.  The comic itself is very bandwidth heavy.  Click the images below for a full version.

2: Retweet!

There’s a little  Tweet button at the bottom of each comic.  Clicking that will log you in to Twitter and let you instantly tell your friends about this super awesome webcomic

3: Write a Review!

Do you have a blog you write or a favorite forum or website you frequent?  Take a few minutes and write up a review of Shonen Punk.  Be honest.  You don’t need to be a raving fanboy or say only nice things about the comic.  Talk about what you liked, what you didn’t like, complain that there’s too much or too little cheesecake, it’s up to you.

4: Ask Me Questions!

Do you have a blog or podcast dealing with manga, webcomics, or awesome ninjar hotties with talking cats?  I will be your guest.  Just watch as I make your fanbase scared of my loins and never want to touch their own, ever again!!

5: Invite Me To Show Up In Person!

I live in Whittier, Ca, so this option really only counts for those of you in the Los Angeles or nearby areas.  If you’re throwing a Con, or art show, or otaku punk themed club night(one can hope), or whatever, let me know and I will help promote and join in the fun.  If you live further away, contact me anyway and we might be able to work something out.

6: Do Other Stuff!

You’re smart.  You’re creative.  Maybe you want to make a cake that looks like Nekoru, or dress up like One of the girls at some Con,  Go for it!  Just shoot me an email or comment so I can share the love.  Just be sure to give me credit for the comic and don’t charge for whatever it is you’re doing.
